With the elimination of "back to VDP link" , regular buyers have expressed real concern about how they’ll be able to buy jeeps and trucks especially.
They search in 4.0 but currently still NEED to click legacy VDP for the long list description with option package names, etc. There’s no way to differentiate in 4.0 VDP, even by clicking on full description. After 10/1, if they can’t differentiate, it leaves too much up in the air and buyers may very well opt not to offer/bid/buy on SA.
Open-ended comment: "On the New site. If a description says 8 Cylinder engine, How do you find out which 8 Cylinder engine? scott@cookchevrolet.com ### Please keep the Old legacy site available, it is more user friendly. Thanks Scott Cook "
Recent feedback from several large buyers is that they still need to go back to Legacy VDP for the long list description because it gives option package names and codes. Necessary information in order to determine proper price to offer and/or bid.
Maybe scale it down so it can all fit on one page and show all the options quickly. Several dealers stated it takes too long to click and scroll down through the "uncategorized" options and easy to miss something with the volume they are having to sift through to find enough viable units.
